The historic Hyland Hotel is located right in downtown Palmer and is just a short walk to local restaurants and shops. Additionally, we have provided approximate driving times below to local attractions which guests can expect to enjoy while visiting our quaint and welcoming little town.

Quietly nestled in the Chugach Range, Palmer offers one-of-a-kind views throughout the area, as well as local activities that can be enjoyed by people from all walks of life! You will see Pioneer Peak, Lazy Mountain, Matanuska Peak, and the rest of our beautiful mountains prominently displayed all around you while you’re in town. Bring a good camera, you’re going to need it!
